Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg Positions
Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg Positions are achieved through
use of a clutch lever in conjunction with bed elevation commands. The
head of the bed will be in a lowered position (Trendelenburg) or raised
position (Reverse Trendelenburg).
Sleeping surface incline can reach an angle of 14
0
.
If bed angle is less than the 14
0
maximum, sleeping surface may be raised
or lowered to maximum range while preserving bed angle.
TRENDELENBURG POSITION
Angle indicators are located on both sides of the bed. To set angle,
lower sleeping surface to minimum height before pulling clutch
lever out.
1. Lower bed.
2. Pull lever towards you and slightly down.
A stricture in the slot will maintain lever position.
3. Raise bed.
REVERSE TRENDELENBURG POSITION
Angle indicators are located on both sides of the bed. To set angle,
lower sleeping surface to minimum height before pulling clutch
lever out.
1. Raise bed.
2. Pull lever towards you and slightly down.
A stricture in the slot will maintain lever position.
3. Lower bed.
