2. Support the head section to avoid an abrupt drop to a horizontal
position.
The thigh section of the sleeping surface will automatically descend
to a horizontal position.
Afterwards, the CPR release will reset automatically.
If a power failure occurs before the CPR release resets, the motor
controlling head section angles will automatically turn on when
power is restored to reset the release.
IMMOBILIZER LEGS
To obtain complete immobility and stability in an emergency situation:
■ Lower bed to lowest possible position to clear casters from floor
level and ensure that the bed is supported by the immobilizer legs.
Options
Care should be taken to make sure that casters clear floor
level before beginning any type of operation.
