Instant CPR Release Control Cable
1. Raise head section of sleeping surface to maximum height.
2. Remove the 4 screws and control handle cover fastened to sleeping
surface.
3. Cut cable where it attaches to mechanism. Keep plastic cap
covering end of cable (A). Screw in cable adjustment screw far as
possible (B).
4. Remove cable from sheath by pulling on its copper retaining ring.
5. Install new cable: the longest cable is installed on the left and the
shortest on the right. Insert cable through same opening on drive
pulley (C). Slide in sheath until it reaches the control handle (D).
■ Make sure the copper retaining ring on cable is inserted between the
2 drive pulley disks (C).
