PARTS REPLACEMENT
Motor
1. Lock casters and raise bed to maximum elevation (A).
2. Raise thigh section to maximum height (B) and lower head section
to horizontal position (C).
If motor to be changed is out of order, turn screw by hand to bring
sleeping surface to proper position or use emergency crank handle.
3. BED EQUIPPED WITH FULL-LENGTH SAFETY SIDE-RAILS: lower to
lowest position.
BED EQUIPPED WITH HALF-LENGTH SAFETY SIDE-RAILS: lower side-
rails located at head of bed and RAISE SIDE-RAILS LOCATED AT
FOOT.
4. Lift and tilt over foot section. SECURE SLEEPING SURFACE IN THIS
POSITION.
5. Disconnect bed electric cord from wall receptacle.
6. Insert the tip of a screwdriver between the bed frame and protective
cover to pop nylon fasteners holding cover down.
