PARTS REPLACEMENT
4 - 6 STRYKER MEDICAL/BERTEC MÉDICAL
REPLACING THE LEVER OR RELEASE ROD
1. Remove foot plate located below footboard.
2. Remove the 4 screws and plastic cover installed on each side-rail
support.
3. Use an Allen key to remove the counterset screw holding each lower
arm in position on side-rail. Keep washers and bushings.
4. Remove the setting bolt from under lever.
5. Pull upwards and remove the 2 spring pins attaching lever to
release rods.
6. Pull each rod toward each end of bed to remove from case and
release lever. Keep release spring and nylon washer.
7. Replace lever or rods and repeat above instructions in reverse order
to reassemble.
