Parts Ordering
PARTS ORDERING PROCEDURE
Some parts may need to be replaced following an accident or repeated
misuse. To properly identify and order parts to be replaced, please observe
the following procedure:
1. Once you have established the nature of the problem, note
equipment model and serial number appearing on the side of the
bed frame at the foot end.
2. BE SURE TO WRITE DOWN THE EXACT NUMBERS. Also make sure
that your equipment is a genuine Bertec product; at first glance,
many manufacturers’ products may be mistaken for Bertec’s. The
Bertec Médical name is indicated on the serial number and product
number plates.
3. Refer to this guide or the guide for the specific Bertec product
should your establishment own several Bertec products. Similar
models may have slightly different components.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REFER TO THE LIST OF COMPONENTS
OF THE MODEL TO BE REPAIRED.
4. Refer to diagrams and parts lists in appendix to identify the
defective component. WRITE DOWN THE NAME OF THE PART AND
ITS ORDER NUMBER. If possible, note down the problem
encountered when using the equipment.
5. WRITE DOWN MODEL NUMBER indicated on the equipment. It is
composed of both letters and numbers, as in the following example:
