PARTS REPLACEMENT
Full-Length Safety Side-Rail
REPLACING THE ENTIRE SIDE-RAIL
1. Remove headboard, footboard and head section of sleeping sur-
face.
2. Loosen and remove the 4 screws holding latch lever case to bed
frame.
3. Remove the 2 screws attaching supports to each extremity of bed
frame.
4. Replace rail by an identical part.
REPLACING THE UPPER SECTION OF THE SIDE-RAIL ONLY
1. Remove headboard and footboard. Remove the safety nets; if the
side-rail is equipped with a patient control, remove it.
2. Remove bolt attaching upper arm to side-rail, from either the head
or foot end. Steady side-rail when removing the last screws.
3. Remove pivot rod (A) carefully to avoid damage to its finish.
4. Replace with identical part, repeating above instructions in reverse
order.
