PROBLEM
Bed control commands
do not work.
SOLUTION
Check wall receptacle electrical connec-
tions.
Plug in bed.
Unplug bed and call a qualified technician.
Unplug bed and call a qualified technician.
Unplug bed and have a qualified
technician replace the part.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The wall receptacle to which the bed is
connected is defective.
The bed is unplugged.
The electric cord is severed.
The electric cord is not connected or is
improperly connected to the PC board.
The PC board or nursing control centre
membrane is defective.
The bed fails to respond
or responds incorrectly to
nursing control
commands activated at
foot of bed.
Unplug bed and have a qualified
technician replace the part.
Unplug bed and have a qualified
technician repair the connection.
Unplug bed and have a qualified
technician repair the connection. Check
wiring against connection diagram found in
appendix.
Unplug bed and have a qualified

Plug patient control into outlet located
under the central section of the sleeping

Patient selective lock-out commands are in
the “OFF” position.
The patient control is not connected to the
bed.
The patient control connection to the PC
board is faulty.
The patient control or PC board is
defective.
Bed runs by itself. Unplug bed and have a qualified

A running motor stops
suddenly.
Let motor cool off.The automatic thermal protection switch
has turned motor off after intensive use.
