Cleaning and Maintenance
ROUTINE INSPECTION
ELECTRIC CONTROL COMMANDS
REPLACE CONTROLS THAT APPEAR DAMAGED THROUGH USE.
Replace any printed circuit showing signs of corrosion or grime.
CASTERS
Check mechanism operation periodically.
Check proper operation of locking system, casters and transmission bars.
Inspect for premature wear. Remove accumulated grime.
Clean caster, adjust brake and transmission bars or replace caster if it
shows signs of wear or excessive use.
SAFETY SIDE-RAILS
Check side-rail operation periodically.
Adjust side-rails so they pivot easily and latch in position immediately.
