PARTS REPLACEMENT
11. Pull translating screw towards motor and insert it in nylon coupling.
12. Bolt bearing plates to bed frame.
13. Return head and thigh sections of sleeping surface to horizontal
position. Tighten or loosen translating screw to align end of ACME
nut fork with end of thigh section lever.
14. Insert nylon washers between both parts and bolt parts together
with light pressure only.
■ Follow steps 13 to 20 in the Motor section to finish installa-
tion.
■ Grease the threaded section the ACME nut moves over. Activate
mechanism to spread grease over entire thread.
Use a synthetic teflon lubricant available at Bertec Médical’s
Parts Department.
