6. Slide bearing plates off and remove bearing from translating screw.
7. Pull translating screw towards foot end of bed while unscrewing
ACME nut. Pull nut out in a straight line through opening in bed
frame.
8. Insert new translating screw through opening at foot end of bed.
Screw on ACME nut starting at threaded end of translating screw
and position screw in its place on nylon bearing (F).
9. Slide the first bearing plate and bearing on new translating screw,
starting at the non-threaded end. The side which locks must face
the foot end of the bed (see circled diagram).
10. Use 4 spring pins to hold bearing in place on translating screw.
Insert second bearing plate on same non-threaded end of
translating screw.
