the critical alarm is addressed. The major exceptions to this
are the smoke and remote shutdown alarms which will cause
all three units to shut down if they occur on any of the main or
shadow units.
Major alarms like smoke or remote shutdown will require a
manual restart. The lead unit alarm must be cleared and the unit
started fi rst. This will allow the shadow units to start after their
alarm is cleared and each is manually restarted.
Shadow units will use whatever sensor arrangement the
workgroup is using fi rst and then the lead unit sensors in the
case where there is no workgroup. They will use their local
sensor only if the lead unit is powered off.
