FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS)
Intake Manifold
18) Install the throttle body to intake manifold.
NOTE:
Replace the gasket with a new one.
Tightening torque:
22 N·m (2.2 kgf-m, 16.2 ft-lb)
19) Connect the air by-pass hose from purge con-
trol solenoid valve to throttle body.
20) Install the intake air temperature and manifold
absolute pressure sensor.
Tightening torque:
3.4 N·m (0.35 kgf-m, 2.5 ft-lb)
NOTE:
Replace the O-ring with a new one.
21) Connect the connector to intake air tempera-
ture and manifold absolute pressure sensor.
22) Connect the connectors to throttle position sen-
sor and idle air control solenoid valve.
23) Install the ignition coil & ignitor ASSY.
24) Connect the connector to ignition coil & ignitor
ASSY.
25) Install the engine ground cable to intake mani-
fold.
Tightening torque:
19 N·m (1.9 kgf-m, 14.0 ft-lb)
E: INSPECTION
Make sure the fuel pipe and fuel hoses are not
cracked and the connections are tightened firmly.
