Thedierencebetweenasymmetricalandnormalalternationisthatthepumpsaredividedintotwoalter-
natinggroups,primaryandsecondarygroup.Withineachgroupthepumpsarealternatingasinnormal
alternation.
Normallypumpsinprimarygroupstartrst.Afteraadjustablenumberofpumpstopsinprimarygroup
pumpsinthesecondarygroupstartrst.Thestopcounterresetsandatnextpumpcycleprimarypumps
startrstagain.Ifthepumpsintheprimarygroupdonothavethecapacitytopumpdownandthepitlevel
continuestoincrease,thepumpsinthesecondarywillstartindependentofthestopcounter.
• Pumpsdividedintwoalternationgroups,primaryandsecondary.
• A group can have 1 to 3 pumps within.
• Adjustablenumberofstartsinprimarygroupbeforesecondarygroupstart.
