3.6.2 PID settings
• In Show status/PID controllermenu,SettheSet pointvalueaccordingtoyoursetlevel.
• In Settings / PID controller / Set point menu:
You can set max and min levels for the set point and a start set point.
• In Settings / PID controller / Output signal menu:
Hereyoucansetthemax and minvaluesfortheoutputsignal(min/maxfreq).
0%=4mAand100%=20mA.,withthefrequencybeingdependentonthesettingoftheVFD.
• In Settings / PID controller / PID parameters menu:
HereyousettheparametersthatcontrolthebehaviourofthePIDController,thesettingofthese
parameters are outside the scope of this document.
• In Settings / PID controller / Speed control VFD menu
Ifthepumpisrunningatminfrequencyforanadjustabletimeyoucansetaforce (lock) speed for
pumpingoutthepit.HereyousettheMin pump speed, Lock speed delay and Lock speed for
the function.
Iflockedspeeddelay = 0 the function is disabled.
3.6.3 Variable frequency drive auto reset
Asofrmwareversion1.70,the“Autoresetmotorprotector”functionalityhasaselectionfor“Conventional”or
“Motor drive”protection.

If [Motor drive]isselected,tripdetectionanddriveresetisdoneovereld-bus(inparallelwithoptionaldis-
crete motor protector input and reset output).
Ifresetfailsmorethan“Maxnoattempts”(default3times),analarmfor“Motorprotectorreseterror”isgener-
atedandpumpisblockeduntilalarmisacknowledged.
The [Max no attempts] error counter is reset when the auto reset sequence is considered successful. This
happens when the pump runtime reaches the set [Pause time] (cooling time) before auto reset.
