1. Raise the pinch rollers using the pinch roller lever arm, which is located at the rear of the
cutter.

2. Loosen the knobs on the two media core holders. The following illustration shows a
loosened core holder  and a tightened core holder .

3. Insert a loosened core holder into one end of the media roll and tighten the knob. Verify
that the core holder is secure. Then do the same at the other side of the roll.
4. Place the media roll with core holders on both sides on the media support rollers, with the
core holders inside the groove of the core holder guide. The core holder guides can be
moved laterally on the roller.
