Grid over-/under-voltage protection
When the grid voltage exceeds the allowable range, PCS will stop operating, send warning
signal and display the fault type on the Web touch screen.
The PCS can detect the anomaly and respond quickly.
Grid over-/under-frequency protection
When the grid frequency exceeds the allowable range, PCS will stop operating, send warn-
ing signal and display the fault type on the Web touch screen.
The PCS can detect the anomaly and respond quickly.
Islanding protection
When the grid voltage is detected to be 0 or the grid frequency exceeds the allowable range,
PCS will stop operating, send warning signal and display the fault type on the Web touch
screen.
The PCS can detect the anomaly and respond quickly.
In anti-islanding protection state, high voltage is still present inside the PCS. Dis-
connect the main switch and discharge before testing or maintenance.
AC over-current protection
When the battery power exceeds the PCS maximum DC input power, the PCS will limit the
current to the maximum allowable AC output power. When the AC current is 1.2 times higher
than nominal current, the PCS will stop operating. When the anomaly is removed, PCS can
recover normal operation.
AC leakage current protection
The PCS is designed with the grounding protection function. The grounding cable is
equipped with a leakage current sensor. When it is detected that the leakage current ex-
ceeds the threshold, the system immediately issues an instruction to stop the device and
displays the fault type on the Web monitoring interface.

Module over-temperature protection
PCS IGBT module is equipped with high-precision thermal sensor to monitor the real-time
temperature of the module. Once over-temperature is detected, DSP will help to maintain
the safe operation of the PCS by sending instruction to stop the PCS.
Ambient over-temperature protection
The PCS is equipped with high-precision thermal sensor to monitor the PCS internal temper-
ature. Once over-temperature is detected, DSP will help to maintain the safe operation of
the PCS by sending instruction to stop the PCS or derate the power output.
