2.6 Ground Fault Protection
If a ground fault occurs in the PCS, some parts that are supposedly voltage-free
may carry lethal voltage. Accidental touch may cause serious damage. Make sure
there is no system ground fault before performing installation and operation, and
take proper protective measures.
2.7 Device Installation
Install the PCS strictly following the description in this chapter.
Install the PCS in electrical control room to avoid the noise generated during the operation
affecting the normal life of residents and other possible emergencies or safety accidents.
• The control room should be far from residential areas. Sound insulation measures should
be taken if necessary.
• Never place any flammable substance inside or around the control room.
• Unobstructed air flow.
• The design of the control room must meet with international and country-specific EMC
requirements.
Smog warning device is recommended to install inside the control room for quick
response of plant staff to the potential fire.
2.8 Electrical Connection
The electrical connection must be in accordance with the circuit diagram and the description
in this manual.
Shock Hazard!
Death resulting from burns and electric shock upon touching the PCS live
components.
• Configuration of the storage batteries and parameters such as current, voltage
and power must conform to technical requirements of the PCS.
• The PCS can be connected to the power grid only after being approved by the
local power supply company and being installed by professional technicians.
• All the electrical connections must comply with country/local standards and
regulations.
