In the grid—connected state, the PCS automatically detects grid voltage signals, and per-
forms operations synchronous with the grid. The grid—connected active power and reactive
power can be adjusted via active power setting and reactive setting respectively.
In the off-grid state, the PCS exports AC voltage and create a voltage source within a specif-
ic frequency range, so as to supply power for the load. In the off-grid state, the amplitude
and frequency of the output voltage with no load can be set by setting the output voltage set
value and output frequency set value.
• The PCS responds to VSG mode instructions only in the stop state, not the
standby state. The condition under which the PCS can operate normally is that
the protection functions well, and the battery voltage falls within the specified
range.
• During grid—connected operation in the VSG mode, ensure that the output volt-
age set value is consistent with the grid voltage, and the output frequency set
value is consistent with the grid frequency! Enable the VSG mode after setting
the running parameters.
• During grid—connected operation in the VSG mode, it is specified that positive
active power set value indicates the PCS generates active power, negative value
indicates the PCS absorbs active power, positive reactive power set value indi-
cates the PCS generates capacitive reactive power, and the negative reactive
power indicates the PCS generates inductive reactive power.
• During grid—connected operation in the VSG mode, when the grid frequency is
the same as the output frequency set value, the grid—connected active power
is equal to the set secondary frequency modulation value; and when the grid
voltage is the same as the output voltage set vale, the grid—connected reactive
power is equal to the reactive power set value. During actual grid—connected
operation, the fluctuation of grid frequency and voltage will cause grid— con-
nected frequency fluctuation within a reasonable range, which is normal.
9.4.3 Mode Switching
In the grid—connected mode, the PCS can directly switch between charging state and dis-
charging state without a middle transition state.
