4-88 DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
• Tighten the fork cap bolt 2 (sub-tank) to the specified torque
with the special tool.
09941-53630 : Front fork cap socket wrench (50 mm)
Fork cap bolt: 34 N·m (3.4 kgf-m, 24.5 lbf-ft)
• Tighten the fork upper clamp bolts 3 to the specified torque.
Fork upper clamp bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lbf-ft)
NOTE:
Check that the air valve is positioned at the front.
• Install the handlebars. (4-95)
• Install the front wheel. (4-56)
• Install the brake caliper. (4-68)
• Tighten the fork protector bolts 4 to the specified torque.
Fork protector bolt: 4.9 N·m (0.49 kgf-m, 3.5 lbf-ft)
