• Loosen and remove the fork cap bolt 9 (sub-tank) from the
outer tube with the special tool and slowly slide down the
outer tube.
09941-53630: Front fork cap socket wrench (50 mm)
• Pour the specified amount of fork oil into the outer tube.
Oil quantity (When standard fork spring is used):
388 ml (13.11/13.66 US/lmp oz)
FORK OIL SS-19 or equivalent
• Raise the outer tube and temporarily tighten the fork cap bolt
9 (sub-tank) with the special tool.

INSTALLATION
• Install the front fork with the upper surface T of the outer tube
positioned 1.0 mm (0.04 in) B from the upper surface of the
upper bracket.
• Check that the air valve A is positioned at the front.
• Tighten the fork lower clamp bolts 1 to the specified torque.
Fork lower clamp bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lbf-ft)
