4-94 DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
• Fit the steering stem upper bracket 2 and washer 3
• Temporarily tighten the steering stem head nut 4.
NOTE:
Pay attention to the direction of the washer 3.
• Temporarily install the front forks to the steering stem, and
tighten the lower clamp bolts.
• Tighten the steering stem head nut 5 to the specified torque.
Steering stem head nut: 100 N·m (10.0 kgf-m, 72.5 lbf-ft)
• Install the front fender 6 as shown.
• Reinstall the front forks. (4-87)
• Install the front wheel. (4-56)

• Insert the collar 7 and throttle assembly 8 onto the handle-
bars.
