1. INST:NSEL 6 (power supply with address 6 will receive commands).
2. SYST:BAUD 9600 (switch baud rate to 9600).
3. SYST:INT RS232 (switch communication interface to RS232 interface).
Update PC terminal software parameters as follows:
Port: RS232, According to Device Manager (refer to Figure 1–11 for an example of COM5).
Baud rate: 9600.
Following commands are sent via RS232 communication interface.
4. INST:NSEL 6 (power supply with address 6 will receive commands).
5. SYST:LANG GEN (switch communication language to GEN language).
NOTE
There are differences between power supply series GEN language commands to
Genesys power supply series GEN language commands. Verify commands-set used by PC
software meets power supply series (refer to section 4.9).
1.9.8 Reset Blank Front Panel Power Supply to Default Settings
power supply default settings are described in section 2.13.1. In case of communication
failure (or unknown communication settings), press and hold Reset Button (refer to
Table 1-4, item
number 5) located on the rear panel for five to ten seconds and release. Power supply settings will
be set according to
Table 2-6 and Table 2-7.
