7.11. DISASSEMBLING THE PEDAL JOINT

Turn off the machine and unplug the mains lead
from the wall outlet.
1. Select stepping mode B (dependent stepping
motion).
Working from both sides:
2. Align the pedals.
3. Raise one pedal and back off the screw a
which fixes the PEDAL JOINT to the chain
of the other pedal, using a 17-mm socket
wrench.
4. Manually unscrew the PEDAL JOINT.
To reassemble the PEDAL JOINT, carry out the
above steps in reverse order.
