UPS EVO DSP PLUS Modular 3 User’s manual
UPS EVO DSP PLUS Modular is fully Modular (in the Figure 1.2 you can see 2 examples of UPS EVO DSP PLUS
Modular).
The structure is made from a 19-inch Rack Cabinet with all necessary 19-inch Rack Modules inside, mounted
according to the specifications requested by the customer.
As shown in the Figure 1.2, the following types of modules may be present in the rack cabinet:
Power Module: UPS EVO DSP PLUS Modular can contains up to 10 Power Modules, equal to each other, each
one providing the power of 20 KVA or 30 KVA, working together in a Parallel System to provide the required
Output Power. The electrical connection of Power Module to the System is quick and easy thanks to Hot-swap
connections.
Battery Modules: the number of battery Modules depends on required autonomy. The electrical connection
of Power Battery to the System is quick and easy thanks to Hot-swap connections.
Static Transfer Switch (STS) Module: it provides and controls the Bypass Power when UPS is in Bypass Mode.
Switch Unit: with the Input and Output Breakers.
Control Panel: through the Control Panel the user can check all the measured parameters, UPS and battery
status and alarms,
The design of all the Modules, make maintenance and replacement quick and easy.
The Modular and Hot-Swappable design of UPS EVO DSP PLUS Modular makes it a highly cost-effective solution to
meet your power requirement.
The number of Power Modules installed in the UPS can be based on the initial needs. Once the power requirement
increases, you can easily install more Power Modules without interrupting the operation of the System.
