TG8000 remote commands

Command description

:DISPlay:BACK

light ON|OFF

Turns the LCD display backlight on or off. You can use 1 or 0 instead of

ON or OFF.

:DISPlay:BACKlight?

Returns the current status of the backlight.

:DISPlay:CONTrast <numeric_va lue>

Controls the intensity of the front-panel LCD display. The value should be an

integer number between 1 and 40.

:DIS

Play:CONTrast?

Returns the current contrast value.

INSTRUMENT commands

Use these commands to list, identify, and q uery modules.

[:SELect] <module_name>

:NSELect

<slot_number>

Command description

:INSTrument:CATalog

Returns a comma delimited list of all slots that are occupied by modules.

:INSTrument:CATalog:FULL

Returns a comma delimited list of module names and slot numbers, in pairs.

The string type of module and the numeric sufﬁx indicates the slot. For

example, "AGL7:1", "HDVG7:2", where 1 indicates an AGL7 in slot 1, and a

HDVG7 in slot 2.

:INSTrument:[:SELect] <module _name>

Selects a module by name.

:INSTrument:[:SELect]?

Returns a module by name.

:INSTrument:NSELect <slot_num ber>

Select a module by slot number.
