Safety Symbols
The following safety symbols are used on the instruments and
throughout this manual.
Symbol Definition
General warning of potential damage or
danger from a variety of sources.
Electric shock warning: disconnect power
before servicing instrument.
Hot surface warning: internal components
may be hot after covers are removed.
Pinch hazard: keep hands and fingers clear.
Tip hazard: follow the Moving and Storage
instructions to prevent unit from tipping.
Heavy object warning: follow the Moving and
Storage instructions to prevent injury.
Electrical grounding connection.
