Conditions
1. Calls to SLT/Fax port cannot be picked up.
2. The Camp-on feature is not allowed to a busy SLT/Fax port.
3. Voice messaging is not available for the SLT/Fax port.

3.25.2 SLT Hot Line
The SLT/Fax port is assigned to the last station number (ex: 108 in 100-108). This port is intended for use
by an SLT, FAX, or modem. The port can be configured to automatically access a CO Line when the
connected device goes off-hook. The Hot Line can be configured as:
Off – No Hot Line operation
Idle Line – select an idle line when the SLT port goes off-hook
Line 1 – select Line 1 when the SLT port goes off-hook
Line 2 – select Line 2 when the SLT port goes off-hook
Line 3 – select Line 3 when the SLT port goes off-hook
In addition, the action the system will take when a hook-flash is detected from the device connected to the
port can be configured as
Flash Xfer: hook-flash, dial tone received then transfer as usual.
Flash Drop: hook-flash, then previous call is dropped.
Flash Ignore: hook-flash, nothing happens.
Hold Release: hook-flash, Held Line is released when the SLT goes On-Hook.
Operation
To select the SLT Hot Line function from the LWS-BS,
1. Press the [Menu] button.
2. Dial 3 4 8.
3. Select the desired Hot Line (Off, Idle Line, Line 1, Line 2, or Line 3).
4. Press the [Save] soft button.
To select hook flash function from the LWS-BS,
1. Press the [Menu] button.
2. Dial 3 4 6.
3. Select the desired option for hook flash.(“FLASH XFER”, “FLASH DROP”, “FLASH IGNORE”,
“HOLD RELEASE”)
4. Press the [Save] soft button.
