5. Remove the long horizontal pins, and the locking pins that secure them, from the top
slabs to free it from the counterweight shell. Both pins should pull freely.
NOTE: If one or both pins will not release, it may be necessary to slightly lower
one side of the slabs and raise the other to get the first pin removed, then
slightly lower the side still pinned and pull the other side up tightly to remove
the second pin.
6. With the engine idling slowly and evenly push down on both levers to lower the top
counterweight slab onto the second slab.
