There are several ways to start the measurement
cycle for capturing the constant value.
Probing the inside part of the master piece
This requires the function enabling single probe
contact to be activated using the rotary power con-
trol or either of both keys and .
BEEP sound acknowledges each value acquisition.
The programme executes a self-test for repeatabil-
ity according to the following criteria:
with a resolution to 0,1µm < 0.5 µm
with a resolution to 1 µm < 2 µm
Probing the external part of the master piece
This is done by pressing key .
Probe insert moves into position at the centre of the
master piece automatically as soon as either of the
following conditions is met: height gauge is
switched on, probe has travelled past the reference
mark or probe constant key has been activated.

value as shown below.

remains stored even after the height gauge has
been switched off.

Once the first measurement has been taken, the
insert will retract and automatically position itself
so that upper point 2 can be probed. Therefore, the
master piece must first be removed to let the insert
move up, then replaced into position before the
insert moves down automatically.
