Capturing a
reference value
Measuring without inversion of the probe direc-
tion
Position probe insert close to the height of selected
reference, then release value capture by pressing
single probe contact key or using the rotary power
control.

Measuring with inversion of the probe direction
Position probe insert close to the height of selected
reference, then release value capture by activating
the key for single or dual probe contact or by rotat-
ing the power control.

Reference value will match the mean value of the
two probe contacts.
Examples
1 When activating one of these functions keys
you will get the following results:
TESA Micro-hite plus M will repeat the same func-
tion at the same location If you don’t press one of
the keys for fast displacement within less than 3
seconds.
The system allows you to choose one of the
measuring functions available for probing another

point If you press either of these keys within less
than 3 seconds,
TESA Micro-hite plus M will repeat the same func-
tion at the new location If you move the probe
insert by rotating the power control.
In either case, reference value will match the mean
calculated from both probe contacts.
When activating either of these function keys
you will request reference value to be taken at the
centre of the workpiece feature.
