clickScreenresolution.ClickAdvancedsettings,selecttheMonitortab,andthensetColors.

Solution:Tobringuptheimage,pressthedisplay-modeswitchingkeyandselectthemonitoryou
want.Iftheproblempersists,dothefollowing:
1.Connecttheexternalmonitortoanothercomputertoensurethatitworks.
2.Reconnecttheexternalmonitortoyourcomputer.
3.Seethemanualshippedwiththeexternalmonitortochecktheresolutionsandrefreshratesthat
aresupported.
–Iftheexternalmonitorsupportsthesameresolutionasthecomputerdisplayorahigherresolution,
viewoutputontheexternalmonitororonboththeexternalmonitorandthecomputerdisplay.
–Iftheexternalmonitorsupportsalowerresolutionthanthecomputerdisplay,viewoutputonthe
externalmonitoronly.(Ifyouviewoutputonboththecomputerdisplayandtheexternalmonitor,
theexternalmonitorscreenwillbeblankordistorted.)
•Problem:Icannotsetahigherresolutionthanthepresentoneonmyexternalmonitor.
