3.4.10 Menu Structure and Description of the Additional Functionality
When the Menu soft key is activated and confirmed with Enter, the unit enters a
menu where all relevant system and operation settings can be accomplished. The
menu will automatically be left, when no key press is made during 20 seconds. For
manually leaving the menu press the left arrow button; or any of the function buttons.
For convenient navigating the menu and submenu numbers are indicated instead of
the battery symbol in the upper right corner of the graphics display. The list below
shows the menu tree of the instrument and describes the functionality of each sub
menu.
1 System
1-1 Autorange
Enables / Disables the auto-range
1-2 Analog Output
Sets the ratio of the voltage proportional to the power reading in
mW for the analog output.
The numerical input field allows set values from 0.001V/mW up
to 1000.000 V/mW
1-3 Display Refresh Rate
Sets the refresh rate for all numerical displays from 1 reading per
second up to 6 readings per second.
The update rate for the bar-graph and needle display cannot be
changed and runs always at its maximum rate of 6Hz.
1-4 Shutdown
Determines the time for the auto-shutdown function. The control
allows the following settings: 1 minute, 10 minutes, 30 minutes,
auto-shutdown off
1-5 Backlight
Determines how long the backlight will stay on after pressing the
backlight button. Possible settings are: 5 seconds, 30 seconds,
1 minute, 5 minutes, always on.
To safe battery power set the time as short as possible.
1-6 Contrast
Adjusts the display contrast. The contrast can be set as a num-
ber of percentage. The result can be watched online while
adjusting the contrast control.
