c) Gate change function
(Fig. 2)
1) Touch the “Gate” button (1) to open the change gate screen (Fig. 2).
2) Touch the gate cursor selection buttons (2) to select the gate cursor to be
changed.
3) Touch the “gate cursor movement” buttons (3) to change the position of
active gate cursor. The modified measurement data is displayed in the edit
data display field along with the movement of the gate cursor.
4) Touch the “Initial position” button (4) to discard changes.
5) Touch the “Apply” button (5) to define the changes and closes the change
gate screen. If the “Cancel” button (6) is touched, the changes made are
discarded and the change gate screen is closed.
d) Caliper function
■
Values measured and displayed using the caliper function are rough
estimates and may differ from the actual measurement result.
This function is used to measure the distance of the measurement waveform.
Dotted caliper lines appear and the distance to the selected caliper line is
displayed.
