3.4 IOL power calculation

When using measurement results for calculation of the IOL power, the
physician must examine the measurement result beforehand.
■
Refer to "3.8 Export, print, and save" for waveforms printed and
exported from the IOL calculation screen.
Touch the "IOL" button (1) located on each screen to open the IOL power
calculation screen.
3.4.1 Calculation
■
When using measurement results for calculation of the IOL power, the
physician must examine the measurement result beforehand.
■
Calculation by this instrument may cause some errors due to the
number of significant digits in internal calculations.
■
Complex numbers may be generated for the SRK/T formula. In this case,
the “√ section” is calculated as zero and an asterisk “*” is shown on the
right of the calculation result.
This instrument automatically starts calculation and displays the result when all
items required for IOL power calculation are set.
3.4.2 Entering calculation parameters
a) Axial length and anterior chamber depth
When an axial length and anterior chamber depth measurement is completed, the
measurement data is already entered automatically and cannot be entered
manually.
When measurement has not yet been performed, enter the data as follows.
