3.7 A mode diagnosis
3.7.1 Connecting the probe
Connect the A-scan diagnosis probe to the instrument.
3.7.2 Switching to A mode diagnosis function
Refer to “3.1.3 Switching modes” for how to enter A mode diagnosis mode.
3.7.3 Registering Ref. Data
Load the reference data for line analysis. Loading of data and adjustment of gains will be
described later. Adjust the line position with the “HRZN” (select line position) button (3) as
needed and touch the “Set Ref.” button (1) to register the line position after freezing. The
registered Ref. data will be retained even after turning power off. Hold the “Reset” button (2)
briefly to delete the data.
After registration, touching the “Ref. Wave” button (4) displays the message “The ∆dB is
calculated by using Ref. data” and reference waveforms.
