2.19.3 Unused JTAG Signal Termination
Unused JTAG signals can be left unconnected.
2.20 Module Recovery
The module recovery is required if the bootloader on the device is no longer capable of booting
the module. In the normal software update process, this feature is not required. You will find
additional information about the module recovery at our Developer Center
(http://developer.toradex.com).
In order to enter recovery mode, the dedicated recovery pin (CTRL_RECOVERY_MICO#, SODIMM
pin 246) needs to be pulled down with ≤1kΩ during the initial power on (cold boot) of the module.
In recovery mode, the software could be downloaded to the module via the USB_1 interface.
It is highly recommended to add at least a test point on the carrier board to the
CTRL_RECOVERY_MICO# pin and having the USB_1 interface accessible.
2.20.1 Recovery Signals
Recovery mode strapping input. Pull-up resistor on
module, additional pull-up on carrier board not allowed.
If only recovery is used (only client mode), this pin can
be permanently pulled up to 1.8V
