CAUTION
If you leave the key in the switch, someone could accidently start the engine and seriously
injure you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the switch before you perform any maintenance.

After the rst hour
• T orque the wheel lug nuts.
After the rst 10 hours
• T orque the wheel lug nuts.
• Check and adjust the parking brake.
• Check the tension of the alternator belt.
• Check the tension of the PT O belt.
After the rst 50 hours
• Change the engine oil and engine-oil lter .
• Check and adjust the parking brake.
• Check the tension of the PT O belt.
• Change the oil in the cutting-unit gearbox.
After the rst 100 hours
• Replace the hydraulic uid and lter .
After the rst 500 hours
• Replace the front axle oil.
Before each use or daily
• Check the air pressure in the tires.
• Check the engine cranking safety-interlock system.
• Check the shut-of f safety-interlock system.
• Check PT O safety-interlock system.
• Check the back-up alarm safety-interlock system.
• Check the air cleaner .
• Check the engine-oil level.
• Check the cooling system and the coolant level.
• Check the radiator screen and radiator for debris.
• Check the hydraulic-uid level.
• Inspect the blades.
• Clean under the cutting unit belt cover .
• Clean the cutting unit.
• Clean the hopper screen.
Every 25 hours
• Check the electrolyte level. (If the machine is in storage, check it every 30 days.)
Every 40 hours
• Grease the cutting unit.
• Grease the bearings and bushings.
• Check the condition of the wire harness and cables.
Every 50 hours
• Remove the air-cleaner cover and clean out the debris. Do not remove the lter .
Every 75 hours
• Change the engine oil (more frequently when operating conditions are extremely
dusty or sandy).
Every 100 hours
• Lubricate the driveshaft sliding joint.
• Replace the air-cleaner lter . More frequently in extreme dusty or dirty conditions.
Every 150 hours
• Change the engine-oil lter (more frequently when operating conditions are
extremely dusty or sandy).
