TestingtheFuses
1.TurnthekeyswitchtotheONposition(donotstarttheengine)andremove
thecapforthefuseblock.Withthefuseinstalledinthefuseblock,usea
multimetertocheckthat12VDCexistsatbothoftheterminaltestpointson
thefuse.If12VDCexistsat1ofthefusetestpointsbutnotattheother,
thefuseisdamaged.
2.Ifnecessary,removethefusefromthefuseblockfortesting.Thefuseshould
havecontinuitybetweenthefuseterminals.
A.EnsurethatthekeyswitchisinOFFpositionandthekeyisremoved
fromthekeyswitch.
B.Locatethefuse(s)tobetestedunderthecontrolpanel.
C.Removethefuse(s)fromthefuseholderfortesting.Thefuseshould
havecontinuitybetweenthefuseterminals.
IMPORTANT
Ifthefusereplacementisnecessary,ensurethatreplacement
fusehasthecorrectrating.
D.Replacethefuseiftestingdeterminesthatitisdamaged.
E.Afteryoucompletethefusetesting,installthefusecap.
