Theengineoilpressureswitchislocatedontheengineneartheoillter(Figure
130).Theoilpressureswitchisanormallyclosedswitchthatopenswithoil
pressure.
Theoilpressureswitchshouldopenatapproximately0.6bar(8.8PSI).
IMPORTANT
Iftheoilpressureindicatorlightisilluminatedwiththeengine
running,shutofftheengineimmediately.Checktheindicatorlight,
circuitwiring,pressureswitchandenginelubricationsystemto
identifythecauseoftheilluminatedindicatorlight.
