Thistestdeterminesiftheliftcylinderisdamaged.Eachhopperliftcylindermust
betestedindividually.
Note:Theraise/lowercircuitoperationcanbeaffectedbythehopperliftcylinder
binding,extraweightonthehopper,and/orbindingoftheliftcomponents.
Ensurethattheseitemsarecheckedbeforecontinuingwiththehopperlift
cylinderinternalleakagetest.
TestProcedure
Note:Whenperformingtheliftcylinderinternalleakagetest,thehoppermust
beattachedtotheliftarms.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandraisethehopper;refertoOperator’s
Manual.
2.SwitchofthePTO,shutofftheengine,andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Securethehopperinraisedpositionwithhoppersafetylock;referto
Operator’sManual.
4.Cleantheareaaroundthehydraulichosesendatthebarrelendofthe
hopperliftcylinder.Disconnectthehydraulichosesfromthehopperlift
cylinderbarrelendtting.
