andlowerproblem.Thistestdeterminesifahoppertiltcylinderbeingtestedis
damaged.Thehoppertiltcylindersmustbetestedindividually.
Note:Thehoppertilt/lowercircuitoperationcanbeaffectedbythehopper
tiltcylinderbinding,extraweightonthehopper,and/orbindingofthelift
components.Ensurethattheseitemsarecheckedbeforecontinuingwiththe
hoppertiltcylinderinternalleakagetest.
TestProcedure
Note:Whenperformingthehoppertiltcylinderinternalleakagetest,thehopper
shouldbeattachedtothehopperliftarms.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandtiltthehopper;refertoOperator’s
Manual.
2.SwitchofthePTO,shutofftheengine,andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Securethehopperintiltposition.
4.Cleantheareaaroundthehydraulichosesendatthebarrelendofthe
hoppertiltcylinder.Disconnectthehydraulichosesfromthehoppertilt
cylinderbarrelendtting.
