FilteringtheClosed-LoopTractionCircuit
Filteringaclosed-loophydraulicsystemafteramajorcomponentfailure(e.g.,
hydraulicpumporhydraulicmotor)isnecessarytopreventunwantedmaterial
fromtransmittingthroughoutthesystem.Ifaclosed-loophydraulicsystem
lteringtoolisnotusedtoensurethesystemcleanliness,repeatfailures,aswell
assubsequentdamagetootherhydrauliccomponentsintheaffectedsystem
willoccur.T oeffectivelyremovethecontaminationfromtheclosed-loopcircuit,
usetheT orohighowhydrauliclterandhydraulichosekits(refertoSpecial
Tools(page2–15)).
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoftheengine,andremovethekey
fromthekeyswitch.
Note:Beforeliftingthemachinewithajack,reviewandfollowtheJacking
Instructions(page1–7).
2.Liftandsupportthemachinesothatall4wheelsareofftheground.
Note:Ifthehydraulicmotorwasreplaced,installahigh-owltertotheinlet
ofthenewmotorinsteadoftothehydraulicpumptting.Thiswillprevent
systemcontaminationfromenteringanddamagingthenewhydraulicmotor.
