RemovingofBrakePedal
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,settheparkingbrake,lowerthecutting
deck,shutofftheengine,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Blockthewheelswithchockstopreventthemachinefrommoving.
3.Disconnectthebatterynegativecablefrombatteryterminalandthen
disconnectpositivecablefrombattery;refertoOperator’sManual.
4.Disconnecttheelectricalwireharnessconnectorfromtheparkingbrake
switch.
5.DisassemblethebrakepedalasneededusingtheFigure152asaguide.
InstallingtheBrakePedal
1.Applyacoatofgreaseonouterdiameterofthebrakepedalpin(29)and
innerdiameterofthebushing(1).
2.AssemblethebrakepedalusingtheFigure152asaguide.
3.Afterthebrakepedalassembly,makesurethatthereisnobindingin
pedalmovementandalsothatpedalreturnstothecenteredpositionwhen
released.Correctanystickingorbindingbeforethemachineoperation.
4.Plugthemachinewireharnessconnectorsintotheparkingbrakemicro
switch.
5.Afterassemblyofthebrakepedal,adjustthebrakepedal;refertoOperator’s
Manual.Makesurethatthebrakepedaldoesnotcontactanythingthrough
bothforwardandreversedirections.
6.Connectpositivebatterycablefrombatteryterminalandthenconnect
negativecabletobattery;refertoOperator’sManual.
