12.Removeange-headscrewsthatsecurefanshroudtoradiator/oilcooler.
Positionfanshroudawayfromtheradiator.
13.Fromrearofmachine,removeange-headscrewsthatsecureradiator/oil
coolertoradiatorframe.
14.Carefullyseparateradiator/oilcoolerassemblyfromradiatorframeand
removefrommachine.Plugradiatorandhoseopeningstoprevent
contamination.
15.Inspectallfoamsealsplacedbetweenradiator/oilcooler,fanshroudand
radiatorframe.Replacedamagedfoamseals.
16.Ifnecessary,removehydraulicttings(item4inFigure51)fromoilcooler
anddiscardO-rings.
InstallingtheRadiatorandOilCoolerAssembly
1.Ifhydraulicttings(item4inFigure51)wereremovedfromoilcooler,
lubricateandplacenewO-ringsontottings.Installttingsintoportopenings
andtightenttings;refertoInstallingtheHydraulicFittings(SAEStraight
ThreadO-RingFittingintotheComponentPort)(page6–13).
2.Carefullypositionradiator/oilcoolerassemblytotheradiatorframe.
3.Fromrearofmachine,secureradiator/oilcoolertoradiatorframewith
removedange-headscrews.
4.Positionfanshroudtoradiator/oilcoolerandsecurewithremoved
ange-headscrews.Ensurethatatleast6.4mm(0.250inch)clearance
existsatallpointsbetweenshroudopeningandfan.
5.Positioncoolantreservoirandbrackettothefanshroud.Securebracketto
fanshroudandradiatorframewith2button-headscrewsandangenuts.
6.Onrightsideofmachine,securefanshroudtoradiatorframewith2
button-headscrewsandangenuts.
7.Removeplugsplacedinradiatorandhoseopeningsduringtheremoval
procedure.
8.Connectupperandlowerradiatorhosestoradiatorandsecurewithhose
clamps.Torquetheclampsto3.4to4.5N∙m(30to40in-lb).
9.Removecapsandplugsfromhydraulictubesandttingsinoilcoolerports.
Connecthydraulictubestottings;refertoInstallingtheHydraulicHoseand
Tube(O-RingFaceSealFitting)(page6–11).
10.Connectoverowhosetoradiatorllopeningandsecurewithhoseclamp.
11.Installandsecureaircleanerinlethose;refertoAirCleanerAssembly(page
3–8).
12.Ensurethattheradiatordraincockisclosed(threadedoutfully).Fillradiator
withcoolant.
13.Checkandadjusthydraulicuidlevelinhydraulicreservoir.
14.Startengine.Checkforuidleaksandproperengineoperation.
15.Afterrunningengineforashorttime,stopengineandensureradiatorand
hydraulicreservoirarefull.Addcorrectuidsifnecessary.
16.Lowerandsecurehood.
