RemovingtheHydraulicPumpDriveshaft
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,settheparkingbrake,lowerthecutting
units,shutofftheengine,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Raiseandsupportthehoodandoperatorseat.Liftthehoodsaddlefromthe
framebrackets,andremovethesaddlefromthemachine.
3.OnmachineswithaKubotagasolineordieselengine(Figure149),remove
the2ange-headscrewsand2angenutsthatsecurethedriveshaftguard
hooptothemachineframe,andremovetheguardhoop.
4.OnmachineswithaYanmardieselengine,removethe2ange-headscrews
(item11inFigure148)and2angenutsthatsecurethedriveshaftguard
hoopandheatshieldtothemachineframe,andremovetheguardhoop
andheatshield.
5.Removethe2boltsand2angenutsthatsecurethedriveshaftyoketo
thetractionpumpinputshaft.
6.OnmachineswithaYanmardieselengine,removethe8ange-headscrews
(item7inFigure148)thatsecuretheywheeladapterplatetotheengine
ywheel.OnmachineswithaKubotagasolineordieselengine,removethe
boltsthatsecurethedriveshaftangetotheengineywheel.
7.Removethedriveshaftassemblyfromthemachine.
8.OnmachineswithaYanmardieselengine,ifnecessary,removethe6bolts
(item6inFigure148),6angenuts,andaback-upringthatsecurethe
driveshaftassemblytotheywheeladapterplate.
