InstallingtheLiftControlManifold
1.Ifthehydraulicttingswereremovedfromtheliftcontrolmanifold,dothe
following:
A.LubricatenewO-ringswithcleanhydraulicuid,installthelubricated
O-ringsontothettings.
IMPORTANT
Wheninstallingtheoriceinthemanifold(Figure168),ensure
thattheoriceisatinthebaseofthettingcavity.Lettingthe
oricestaycockedinthecavitycandamagethemanifold.
B.Forthemanifoldportswithorice,installcorrectoriceintheportwith
theoriceslotfacingout.
C.Installthettingsintothemanifold.Torquethettingstothetorque
valuesidentiedinFigure167andFigure168.
2.Positiontheliftcontrolmanifoldtoframe.Installthe2ange-headscrews
butdonotfullytighten.
3.Removethecapsandplugsfromthehydrauliclinesandttings.
4.LubricateandinstallnewO-ring(s)onthemanifoldttings.Correctlyconnect
thehydraulichosesandtubestothehydraulicmanifoldttingsandtighten
alltheconnections;refertoInstallingtheHydraulicHoseandTube(O-Ring
FaceSealFitting)(page6–11).
5.Tightenthe2ange-headscrewstosecuretheliftcontrolmanifoldtothe
frame.
6.Usethelabelsthatyouattachedduringremovaltoconnectthewireharness
leadstothesolenoidcoilsonthemanifold.
7.Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthehydraulictankandaddcorrectquantity
ofuidifnecessary;refertotheOperator’sManual.
8.Operatethemachinefunctionsslowlyuntilairisoutofsystem;referto
ChargingtheHydraulicSystem(page6–151).
