RemovingtheEngine
1.Parkmachineonalevelsurface,lowercuttingunits,stopengineandremove
keyfromthekeyswitch.Chockwheelstokeepthemachinefrommoving.
Openhood.
2.Ifengineistobedisassembled,drainoilfromengine.
3.Disconnectnegative(-)andthenpositive(+)batterycablesfromthebattery.
CAUTION
Donotopenradiatorcapordraincoolantiftheradiatororengineis
hot.Pressurized,hotcoolantcanescapeandcauseburns.
Ethylene-glycolantifreezeispoisonous.Disposeofcoolantproperly,
orstoreitinaproperlylabeledcontainerawayfromchildrenandpets
4.Draincoolantfromradiator;refertoRadiatorAssembly(page3–17).
5.Removeaircleanerassemblyfrommachine;refertoAirCleanerAssembly
(page3–8).
6.Removeexhaustsystemfrommachine;refertoExhaustSystem(page3–11).
