checktheclearancebetweenthecarrierframeandsideplate.Ifclearance
ismorethan2.3mm(0.090inch),removeangeheadscrewandposition
shim(s)(partnumber67-9410)betweencarrierframeandsideplatesothat
clearanceislessthan2.3mm(0.090inch).Makesurethatthecarrierframe
pivotsfreelyafterassembly.
8.InstallcapscrewandatwasherthatsecurereargrassshieldtoLHside
plate.Tightenscrewfrom20to25N∙m(15to19ft‐ ‐
‐
lbs).
9.Installthebedbarassembly;refertoInstallingtheBedbarAssembly(page
9–21).
10.Installtherearroller;refertoInstallingtheRearRoller(page9–45).

madetoparalleltherearrollerwiththecuttingreel;refertoLevelingthe

14.Ifthecuttingunitisequippedwithoptionalgroomerorrearrollerbrush,
installthecomponentsforthoseoptionstotheLHsideplateofthecutting
unit.RefertoServiceandRepairs(page10–6)forinformationonbeltdriven
groomer.RefertoRearRollerBrush–Optional(cuttingunitswithpainted
sideplates)(page9–51)forinformationontherearrollerbrush.
15.Ifthecounterweightwasremovedfromthecuttingunit,installnewO-ring
(item11)oncounterweight.Securethecounterweighttothecuttingunitside
platewiththe2bolts;torquetheboltsto37to44N∙m(27to33ft-lb).
16.Lubricatethecuttingunitgreasettingsuntilgreasepurgesfromtherelief
ventsinthesideplates.Initialgreasingmayrequireseveralpumpsofahand
greasegun.Removetheunwantedgreasefromthettingsandreliefvents.
17.Installthecuttingunittothemachine.
