5 EQUIPMENT SETTINGS
130 Default Settings
 Setting the timers for auto clearance and energy-saving
Set the default setting for the “AUTO CLEAR”, “AUTO LOW POWER”, or “AUTO SLEEP” as follows.
AUTO CLEAR: If you leave the operation on the menu as it is for the set time, the equipment automatically clears
your operation and exits from the menu.
AUTO LOW POWER: If you leave the equipment as it is without touching the buttons for the set time, it automatically
enters the low power mode. When you touch the buttons or the equipment receives print data, it
returns to the normal condition.
AUTO SLEEP: If you leave the equipment as it is for the set time, it automatically enters the sleep mode to save
energy. When you touch the buttons or the equipment receives print data, it wakes up.

Press the [MENU] button to enter the “MENU” mode.

Press the or button to select “DEFAULT SETTINGS”.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button to enter the “DEFAULT SETTINGS” menu.

Press the or button to select “TIMERS”.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button.

Press the or button to select “AUTO CLEAR”, “AUTO LOW POWER”, or “AUTO
SLEEP”.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button.

Press the or button to set the time value.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button to exit from the menu.
You are finished with the operation in the “MENU” mode. The selected setting becomes active as the default.
 Setting the pop-up message for changing paper in the drawer
When you load a different size of paper in the drawer, you need to change the paper size on the LCD screen. If you turn on
the “DRAWER SET POP-UP” function in the “MENU” mode, the pop-up message always appears on the LCD screen to
prompt you to change the paper size every time you change paper in the drawer. If you turn it off, no pop-up message
appears on the LCD screen: remember to change the paper size.
 Setting the default for the pop-up message function
Set the default setting for the “DRAWER SET POP-UP” function as follows.
